Care for some Job Openings, Anyone?

Elizabeth Poole Sanford back again! So I just came back from a little lunch with my close friends, and I could not believe what occupations they have all pursed! They've all become teachers! My, I never thought this day would come. Good gracious, excuse me for my over-excitement.

Please, do let me explain why I am just so astounded to hear this good news. I always thought that, we, as women, would never see the day in which we would become anything other than just housewives. But no, here I am, witnessing the greatest moment in my life! I'm just so blessed. My friends explained to me that being a teacher should be "a natural role" for women because of the tendencies we have to be caretakers and nurturers. They are able to go through teacher training courses to comprehend the gist of instucting. With that, they also earn a salary!! This is too much for me to handle, my dear readers. I love seeing my peers acting the amazon, and this, this brings tears to my eyes.

Another thing I had to bring up deals with my former friend, Barbara Bodichon. She mastered a feat many of us can only dream of. It was said Barbara established her very own school, specially designed for females. It teaches good morals and trains girls to be economically independent. This sounds fabulous to me, though a little bit on the wild side. Of course we all know women can not be entirely independent!

SANFORD OUT

Below is a picture of Ms. Bodichon, a truly inspirational woman :)
